Created by Sacramento-based Soundescapes, the i360 line of headbands and beanies provide wireless musical capabilities — just add an iPod or mp3 player.
The fashionable and musically functional i360 headwear eliminates messy wires and bulky headphones while also delivering top-notch sound. The headwear uses a patented technology that includes a washable 3-jack wiring assembly and internal pockets allowing listeners to connect their iPod to custom i360 speakers, all hidden from view.
The i360 line of music-infused headwear was founded by entrepreneur Aaron Phillips, who experienced the frustrations of dropping his iPod or getting tangled up in wires while enjoying music in an active lifestyle including running, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Phillips’ company Soundescapes developed and introduced the patented line of i360 Music Infused Apparel a year ago.
An ideal gift for teens to enjoy while skateboarding and adults who enjoy music while running, hiking, walking and more, the i360 line of music-infused headwear is available for purchase at specialty sporting goods retailers as well as online at www.ithreesixty.com in the US, Canada, and Europe. Prices range from $39.95 to $49.95 (iPod not included).
About i360
In 2009, Sacramento, Calif.-based Soundescapes, Inc. debuted its i360 line of music-infused headwear designed for people to enjoy their favorite music while doing their favorite activities. i360 headbands and now beanies are being sold online and throughout retailers across the country as well as in Canada and Europe.
The i360 line of headbands and beanies keeps you warm while giving you wireless music – just add an iPod nano or shuffle. These hats/headbands are very cool in that urban hip hop sort of way in their own right and the whole music thing just adds some uniqueness. Designed by a guy whose iPod flew off the elliptical trainer when he was wearing ear buds, they are designed to slide your iPod right in the side so the wires to the speakers are right in the hat. And they even have a window for the screen, so others can see what you are listening to. Don’t think it has to be cold either, those teens et al wear these things in 80 degrees just for the fashion. And yes, they can be washed to get all the sweat out, just don’t leave your iPod inside—you know how Apple gets upset about water damage.
One good thing about the i360 line is that it’s really is hard to find, so you know not everyone on the block is wearing the same hat. So far distribution is limited to a few trendy stores mostly in California and the website. There is a choice of three product lines: the headbands ($39.95) which come in black or white, or black polar (for warmth); the beanies ($49.95) which is the basic knit cap that comes in black white or a blue or pink pattern; and the hat beanie ($49.95) which is the knot cap with a brim and comes in black, white, red, pink and that pink or blue pattern again. As an undocumented feature, with the screen lit up, it is like having a safety light when jogging at night. View original post at “Unthinkable”

All the controls buttons are on the left side, you can click these buttons for rewinding your playlist, or going forward or pause. If you are interested in the special designed i360,you can buy it at a price of $39.99. View original post at “iccellphone.com”
Billed as music-infused headwear for those who hate wires, the i360 headbands and beanies provide wireless listening enjoyment. Could this be a Bluetooth A2DP solution we’ve all been waiting for? Anyone who has exercised around swinging headphone wires knows we need a better solution.
Instead of Bluetooth, i360 chose to go another route: it stores the iPod up in the headwear. Clearly this concept would work best with a smaller iPod Shuffle vs the longer Nano, but that doesn’t stop this company from going after both. Most products are offered in two versions, to support all generations of the Nano.
The company produces headbands, beanies and even hat beanies with pockets for the Nano and Shuffle at prices starting at $39.99. Controls are left exposed so you can pause, forward and rewind your tunes. View full article at “Gadgetell.com”
